Nutrient Dense Food Production
Nutrient-dense crops are generally understood to be those with superior nutritional content, pest resistance, and better flavor. .. but how is this achieved? By fostering healthy soil with high microbial activity…. and healthy soil with high microbial activity leads to increased nutrient density, improved plant health & pest resistance, and increased productivity & profitability of your enterprise. Creating this win/win/win scenario benefits the environment, the farmer and human health!
Presented by Dan Kittredge, founder of the Bionutrient Food Association, this one day workshop will introduce participants to a ‘first principles’ understanding of what is required to grow nutrient dense food for livestock and people. Dan draws on over 40 years of farming experience and 15 years of teaching to deliver this workshop, Dan will also give participants an insight into his intensive course on Nutrient Dense Food Production which we aim to deliver in 2026 should there be sufficient interest.
