Building the Future

Our mission is to “increase the quality of our food supply.” Why? Because better food comes from healthy soils, which supports both human and environmental health.

Our work helps to mitigate the impacts of climate change and support vitality and health for future generations. To date we have produced empirical data which demonstrates the variation that exists in the food supply. Our next steps include three goals:

  1. Define nutrient density, that is, define what is quality via scientific research to understand the full spectrum of nutrients in a crop.

  2. Identify what causes it.

  3. Create a portable meter, the Bionutrient Meter, that you can use at the point of purchase or anywhere to access the nutrient content of food.

Our hypothesis is that food quality can be an approximation for all these facets and can be an economic lever.

We’d love your support on these endeavors to serve the collective global community, health of ourselves and our life giving planet.

The BFA contributes to the grassroots movement building and education on nutrient density. Dan Kittredge has provoked the status quo over the last 10 years bringing nutrition into question, and it’s time now for unprecedented collaboration, to bring the movement into a new wave of manifestation. This takes systems, communications, travel, content and so much more.

Nutrient Density Research

Do you know that there are thousands of compounds in food? Our Nutrition Panels are providing a fraction of the nutritional information which impacts our health. We’re running studies to define nutrition density and their causal factors and how they affect health.
